It can also been seen as a person who belong to a particular country and can claim the rights provided for in the constitution. Any person born in Nigeria or outside Nigeria either of whose parent is a Nigeria is a citizen of Nigeria for example, a child born in Canada by Bini parent is a Nigerian citizen. People who are not citizens of a country but lives in the country legally are called foreigners.
